NYFGbY Cable

NYFGbY Cable Description

The galvanized flat steel wire and galvanized steel tape used in NYFGbY cable provide mechanical protection and are suitable for applications subject to higher tensile stresses during installation or operation.

The steel wire armor is suitable for direct burial installation. The flat wire (compared to standard SWA round wire) results in a slightly smaller overall cable diameter, making it suitable for use in space-constrained applications.
