FL Automotive Cable Description
FL standard-wall automotive cables are available in a variety of insulation materials, including polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyamide, silicone rubber, cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), and EFTE (ethylene tetrafluoroethylene). The insulation material determines the cable’s resistance to oil, fuel, and brake fluid, as well as its ability to withstand high temperatures (such as FL2G cables) and low temperatures (such as FLYK cables).
FL automotive cables are designed for starter motors, charging systems, lighting, signaling, and instrument panel circuits. They can be used in both electric vehicles (EVs) and conventional gasoline and diesel vehicles.
