Mode 4 DC EV Cable Description

Mode 4 DC EV cables connect the charging station’s DC power source directly to the vehicle’s battery, bypassing the onboard AC-DC converter. This significantly reduces charging time compared to AC charging.

Mode 4 DC EV cables utilize a rubber-insulated, grade 6, ultra-flexible copper conductor and include a short ground core, routed alongside the control and guide wires. The cables are covered with a halogen-free polyurethane outer jacket for robust environmental protection.
