N1XE Cable Description
N1XE cables use Category 1 solid or Category 2 stranded copper or aluminum conductors, XLPE insulation, and a polyethylene (PE) UV-resistant outer sheath, which provides some water resistance and abrasion resistance. They are typically used in power plants, industrial installations, switchgear, and local trunk power distribution.
This cable is available with either black-numbered cores (N1XE-U) or color-coded cores (N1XE-R). It can be fixedly laid underground, indoors, in cable ducts, outdoors, and underwater.
