XHHW-2 Cable Description

XHHW-2 cable uses copper or aluminum conductors and cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation. This is a thermosetting insulation material with properties of heat resistance, moisture resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, ozone resistance, and physical abrasion resistance; it will not melt even at high temperatures.

This cable is suitable for humid or dry environments and can be installed indoors or outdoors, in conduits, cable trays, or approved cable trays, including direct burial. It is commonly used in power lines, feeders, and branch circuit wiring in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
