H03S-K Cable Description
H03S-K cable features a Category 5 flexible annealed tin-plated/bare copper conductor and a silicone rubber (Si) insulation layer, offering resistance to oils, alcohols, vegetable/animal fats, and chemicals, as well as good flame retardancy. It is suitable for lighting, heating elements, and machinery, and is typically used for internal wiring.
The silicone insulation layer provides the cable with good flexibility. However, the properties of silicone mean it is not as robust and durable as other insulation materials. For additional protection, options such as the SIAF-GL cable with a fiberglass braided sheath are available.
