FR-N1 X1G1 Cable Description
FR-N1 X1G1 cables use copper or aluminum conductors, cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, and a halogen-free flame-retardant (HFFR) outer sheath. They can be used for power distribution in fixed applications such as cable trays, conduits, or buildings, but not for direct burial. Suitable for locations such as hotels, hospitals, and industrial plants, but not for applications requiring circuit integrity under fire conditions.
For the same specifications, aluminum core cables are lighter than copper core cables, but require a larger cross-sectional area to achieve the same current-carrying capacity. Therefore, copper core cables should be chosen when installation space is limited.
