H1Z2Z2-K Cable Description
H1Z2Z2-K cables are manufactured according to European standard EN 50618, featuring a double-insulated design with UV resistance, water resistance (AD8 rating), and abrasion and impact resistance. Its low-smoke halogen-free (LSZH) insulation and sheath make it suitable for locations where corrosive fumes may endanger personal safety during a fire.
The compounds used in the insulation and outer sheath of H1Z2Z2-K cables are halogen-free cross-linked compounds; hence, these cables are called “cross-linked solar cables.” They have high voltage resistance (up to 1.5kV DC), excellent fire resistance (CPR Cca), and a long service life, making them a durable and safe choice for interconnecting solar panels.
