RZ1-K Cable Description
RZ1-K cable uses Category 5 flexible copper conductors, cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, and a polyolefin low-smoke halogen-free (LSZH) outer sheath. It does not release toxic or corrosive gases in a fire, making it suitable for public places such as hospitals, tunnels, and airports.
The (AS) marking indicates the cable’s flame-retardant performance, meeting not only the single-strand vertical burning test of IEC 60332-1-2 (as with RZ1-K) but also the fire resistance test for bundled cables of IEC 60332-3-24.
