AHXAMK Cable Description
AHXAMK cables utilize an aluminum/plastic laminate, providing radial water resistance. Its construction includes an aluminum conductor for a lightweight design; a polyethylene (PE) outer sheath for high abrasion resistance; and a cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation layer for high dielectric strength and insulation resistance.
These cables have three insulated cores stacked together, with the specific configuration depending on the cable type. The AHXAMK-W has a central exposed ground conductor, while the AHXAMK-WM has a central galvanized steel wire rope support. At the same time, AHXAMK-WP lacks a central support element.
