XHIV & LXHIV Cable Description
Both XHIV (copper core) and LXHIV (aluminum core) cables are manufactured according to IEC 60502-2 and HD620 standards, featuring cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) outer sheath, and a copper tape shield. Voltage ratings include 3.6/6kV, 6/10kV, 8.7/15kV, 12/20kV, and 18/30kV.
LXHIV and XHIV cables are also available with a polyethylene (PE) sheath, cable designations LXHIE and XHIE respectively, and different constructions, including copper wire shielding (LXHIOV/XHIOV) and armor, for additional mechanical protection.
