Type 611, Type 622 and Type 633 Cable Description
Type 611, Type 622, and Type 633 cables all feature a neoprene (CR) sheath, offering excellent resistance to UV radiation, ozone, oil, and chemicals, while also exhibiting flame retardancy and good abrasion resistance. They are commonly used in electrically operated mobile equipment in the mining industry, such as stacker-reclaimers, conveyors, medium-duty draglines, buckets, and drilling rigs.
These cables are laid with three shielded power conductors and three unshielded lead conductors. Each shielded power conductor is surrounded by a tinned copper and nylon braid, and the entire cable is covered by a tinned copper braid. Variants such as the 611-ECC, 622-ECC, and 633-ECC replace one of the lead wire cores with a tinned copper conductor to enhance ground/fault current capability.
