NPG Cable Description
NPG cables typically feature aluminum conductors, XLPE insulation, and MDPE jackets. They are available in voltage ratings of 11kV and 33kV.
NPG 11kV cables use a three-core construction—three single-core cables twisted together (rather than a three-core cable with a collective jacket). The conductor sizes are 95 mm², 185 mm², and 300 mm², respectively. NPG 33kV cables are single-core cables with cross-sectional sizes of 500 mm², 630 mm², and 800 mm², respectively.
