Railway Power Transmission Cable

NR/PS/ELP/00008 Cable Description

All 33kV and 44kV cables feature a water-swellable semi-conductive tape and copper wire shield, helically wrapped with balancing copper tape. Designed for supplying DC and AC electrified lines, respectively, they are available with either MDPE or low-smoke zero-halogen outer sheaths, the latter suitable for underground and tunnel use.
