Aluminium Turbine Tower Cable Description
Aluminum turbine tower cables are a lightweight and cost-effective alternative to copper cables. Because aluminum is less expensive and lighter than copper, it is easier to install, helping to improve the overall cost-effectiveness of wind energy projects.
Aluminum turbine tower cables are low-voltage distribution cables rated at 0.6/1 kV, featuring a low-smoke, zero-halogen (LSZH) jacket and are suitable for interior installation.
HEPR/PO 1kV cables utilize rigid ethylene propylene rubber (HEPR) insulation, a rubber inner jacket, and a polyolefin outer jacket. In contrast, XLEVA 1kV cables retain EPR insulation but add a TCWB shield and a cross-linked ethylene vinyl acetate (XL-EVA) jacket. Both cable jacket materials offer excellent chemical resistance, thermal resistance, and mechanical properties.
