2YAFCY Cable Description

2YAFCY cable is suitable for both dry and humid indoor or outdoor/aerial installations. Its tinned copper braid protects the underlying copper wires from corrosion or greening in humid environments.

2YALGY cable has very similar performance parameters, but with slightly lower attenuation at high frequencies. However, 2YALGY cable uses a bare copper braid, which oxidizes faster if moisture penetrates the sheath. Tinned copper is also easier to solder than bare copper; if your termination requires soldering the braid, 2YAFCY is a better choice.
