A-2Y(L)2Y / A-2YF(L)2Y Cable Description
The A-2Y(L)2Y cable features a solid copper conductor, polyethylene (PE) insulation and an outer sheath, and a plastic-coated aluminum tape shielding layer. This reduces crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, and provides excellent weather resistance, UV resistance, and moisture protection. It is ideal for outdoor use, direct burial, and installation in cable conduits.
The waterproof version, A-2YF(L)2Y, continuously fills the gaps in the cable core with petroleum jelly compound, providing both longitudinal and transverse waterproofing.
