Telephone Jumper Wire Description
Telephone Jumper Wire uses solid bare copper or tinned copper with flame-retardant PVC insulation. Two insulated solid conductors are gently twisted together to form a pair, thereby reducing electromagnetic interference.
How does it work?
1. Stripping & Trimming: Installers measure the required run length between two specific termination blocks on an MDF rack.
2. Punch-Down Termination: The solid copper ends are punched directly into Insulation Displacement Connection (IDC) blocks without needing to strip the plastic insulation first.
3. Signal Bridging: The physical copper path completes the circuit, redirecting voice or low-bit-rate data signals from one designated port or subscriber line to another
